To make your experience easier, this guide was created.
The main navigation on play.it is in the header, with links to the 3 major categories of the site – CREATE, PLAY & SHARE.

PLAY

The most basic feature of play.it is listening to online radio. With over 300 professionally-programmed stations, there is certainly no dearth of quality radio! The play.stations link displays the most listened to stations, as well as offering several search options.
You can browse stations by genre using the genre tree on the left. Organized by genre/sub-genre, these are updated as stations are created. Notice a genre without a station? Create one to fill the void!
Another option is to search for Stations, Genres, DJs or by location.

Simply enter your search and click go. Search results will show up in order of popularity.
For the slightly more adventurous, you can PLAY A MIX.

Using this feature is as easy as typing the name of an artist in the ‘Play a Mix’ field. This will build a custom radio station around that artist, including similar artists and music. This is a great option for users looking to discover new music.
CREATE

By pressing the create.radio button, you will be taken to the programming target. For help with creating your first radio station, visit the Tutorial. If you have already created a station, clicking the create.radio button will take you to the My Stations page, where you can edit existing stations or create a new one. Remember, you can create as many radio stations as you would like!
SHARE

During the private beta, widget-building is de-activated. Once the public beta is launched, clicking this link will take you to a page that will allow you to generate widget code to place your stations on any blog or webpage you’d like! Until then, you can share links to friends to listen to your station.
HOME
If, at any time, you’d like to return to the play.it homepage, simply click the play.it logo on the top left.
