#003: Rate This Song

29 September 2008 3 Comments

Want to let Program Directors know how you feel about a song? play.it’s RATE THIS SONG feature lets you do just that. The RATE THIS SONG link is located directly below the SONG, ARTIST, and ALBUM names on your radio player. Select a rating every time a song is playing to let us know how you feel about that song. 1 Star is the equivalent of saying “BOO” while 5 Stars is like a standing ovation. You can rate a song as often as you like. The ratings system is used on the back end, with low-rated songs playing less often across all stations. Right now, there is no indication on the front end of what a song’s rating is.Your feedback is an important factor in station programming. So start rating today!

Why did you get rid of the rating features for artist and album? I was listening to Yahoo Radio 2 days ago and I could rate any and all of the above, not just the song. I liked being able to say I don’t like this particular song, but I do like the artist.
